Left for dead for three days, Bill's plane found and brought home.
Clunk V1 2 4

Scratch built RC plane made from stuff around the house and spare UMX components. I take it to indoor flying to see if I can steer it's 30 inch WS around a single BB court. Several guys fly the Clik 3D indoor plane and since this is basically the opposite, it has been dubbed the 'Clunk".

My old pickup needed a run to keep her limbered up, so I drove it into town to stock up on some auto supplies.

Finally another chance to fly in nearly windless conditions. Not too exciting, just a fun time flying low and slow.

Your engine runs very well 😇🙏
Unexpectedly good ! Really nice version.
That looks like a fun little event. Definitely need some flaps!
Outstanding…..!!!
fantastic!
well done..baby
Great job! I think I'd shorten the fuselage a touch, and is it a little tail-heavy?
It's balancing at 50% currently, it does have some down trim. It is very stable and turns nicely with just rudder.
Hebat kakak
thumbs down on this, nothing to see.
what do you want to know?
@@artpam setup of the controller
There are tons of videos out there explaining differential thrust. You would need a transmitter that runs OpenTX or EdgeTX for any explanation from me to help you out. Here's one: ruclips.net/video/v6W6FpL9zFg/видео.html If you are using a different transmitter, you'll need to search for differential thrust/throttle for your brand. @@swenorth
She is a beauty !
Flies pretty good for "junk"! We love it! -Mike and Richie
Thanks
nice!!
That little dude really performs!
Missed you at indoor.
Runs down the road real nice, Art. Thanks for the ride! All the best, Mart.
Nice flying!
good show
Really Cute. Well done!
Anyone catch what kit/plans and wingspan?
If I remember correctly, it was plans built with a fiberglass cowl from fiberglass master.
Whada ww2 biplane
My very favorite plane!
Epic
Can't put the tail lights down that low these days. The KGB has rules about that and many other things these days.
cool!!!!
Hew :)
Hey*
Just Beautiful.
Does sound nice! 13 years later still watching!
Great episode. I know it's a lot of work. Thanks!!
awesome!!!
Art, gonna work on a heater next? - Rman
I bet this one was a much warmer drive than in the hot rod 🙂 We were into T models later in life. Your 30 A is a mechanical marvel compared to the T's. Thanks for posting
Was only 35F but pleasant in the 30 Coupe, I'd love to own a T, but they never made a XL model!
Looks like a great place to live. Enjoy :)
Hey Art! So happy to see the A out on the street! Man, that car sounds awesome... I hear ya on the gas prices, but I agree on the ethanol-free for the old engines... Cheers from me and the Menace dog!
Hi Scott, thanks for stopping by, Give Francine a big hug for me. I'm jealous of your 37 Chevy.😁
I'm jealous of your windy-uppy windows, Art. Merry Christmas to you. Mart.
Merry Christmas to you and yours Mart. I like to have everything working to make driving as pleasurable as possible. Unreliable, poorly running/driving cars don't get driven.
You would never catch me with a Flathead Ford. Probably the most worthless POS engine ever unleashed on a populace. They don't even make good boat anchors.
My grandpa has a blue coupe, I saw a sedan in this color as part of a community members collection. Hudson is the best.
Love it a real car guy! Sounds and drives awesome! What state is this?
These interior cold starts and drivers are just the best. Please make more!
Brings back many fond memories of mine
Good job! I like too.
That interior looks huge!
Thanks for the ride loved the exhaust shot at the end sounds GREAT.
I applaud you for running a manual trans. Built one very similar in 1968 out of parts catalogs. Stock 283 and a 4 speed. Sounds sweet!
Clutch mechanism certainly adds complexity, and Model A's are tight on space for everything. The Chevy S10 5-speed is magic behind a Flathead V8.
Good looking rig. I bet your hoping to get your top done soon.
The plan is a "tonneau" snap down cover so I can remove it in the nice weather.
Is there a album where we can watch this build from the beginning ?
Sorry no. The videos are done mostly to share my progress with family and friends.
Sounds like either the timing is slightly retarded,or your accelerator pump isn’t working properly. She’s stumbling on accelerating off idle, otherwise it sounds nice.
uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuufffffffffffffff You can't tell the speed You're cruissing in? that's a good car
Nice ride , subbed
Fine looking coupe .... great job!
Sounds great, Art. It's good to get to that stage where you can start to look at other things. Thanks for the mention!
I think I'll work on a proper fuel tank next, that would be a real luxury
@@artpam you running a T-5 and what exhaust and cam? Did you build the engine.
That's a great car. .
